Job Title: Sanitation Specialist
Reports to: Cellar Supervisor
Job Location: Naples, NY
Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our team. The Sanitation Worker will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within a food & beverage production facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
Full-Time (40 hours/wk average)
Pay Range $15.50-$19.00 per hour*
*Hourly wage commensurate with experience
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Clean and sanitize food processing equipment and machinery
- Perform industrial cleaning of production areas
- Fabricate cleaning solutions as needed
- Conduct commercial cleaning of warehouse facilities
- Handle custodial duties to maintain cleanliness in designated areas
- Sanitize surfaces to prevent contamination
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required
- All other duties as deemed necessary for the successful operation of the company.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food and/or beverage production or processing environments preferred
- Proficiency in industrial cleaning practices
- Ability to perform commercial cleaning duties effectively
- Experience with warehouse sanitation procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely
- Ambitious, self motivated
