Hazlitt Red Cat Cellars

Sip, Savor, & Socialize

Our Second Home

In 2011, the Hazlitt family purchased Hazlitt Red Cat Cellars, formerly known as Widmer Wine Cellars (one of the region’s most historic and long-standing national wine producers) so we could continue to grow and expand production. The gorgeous facility is nestled in the hills of the quaint little village of Naples, NY.

Winery & Tasting Room

We have restored and renovated the building a bit. We’ve even added some of our own history to give it that warm & welcoming Hazlitt feel you’ll love! We can host tastings in our main tasting room and next door in the two-story chalet. It’s definitely a top destination for wine lovers visiting Naples, NY wineries in the Finger Lakes region.

Enjoy your wine and cider with a freshly popped bowl of popcorn at a tasting bar, a wine barrel table, or in the chalet. We also have beautiful outdoor seating options on our patio or grassy knoll picnic area.

If you are hungry, we have a snack basket of meats and cheeses. Our gift shop, located inside the tasting room, is full of all your favorite Hazlitt & Red Cat Wines and merchandise to take home and enjoy.

Hiking Trail

Enjoy a beautiful, invigorating, and nature-filled hike on our very own 0.7-mile loop hillside trail!

The trail is located up behind the Naples NY winery amongst some of the old, abandoned, historical Widmer Winery vineyards. There are some steep inclines and uneven ground that call for decent hiking shoes and appropriate attire (no need for swimsuits or flip-flops). Be sure to stop into our Naples NY winery location before your trek with any questions or to grab some water or snacks.

Oh! Don’t forget to bring your camera so you can capture the beautiful scenery on the trail.

When Can We Hike?

The trail is open May – October, dawn to dusk.
